Welcome to Bonny Bay Camp

Whether you wish to fish, hunt, or just explore, great adventures await on Wabigoon Lake!

Ontario Trophy Fishing:

We are located on the shores of beautiful Wabigoon Lake, a high-quality multi-species fishery in Northwestern Ontario. Wabigoon Lake is home to Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike, Crappie, Smallmouth Bass and Jumbo Perch. There are also many lakes within a short drive of our camp that have fantastic Lake Trout fishing.

Wabigoon Lake has over 100 miles of shoreline, countless bays with weed beds, islands and rocky points that will excite the most demanding angler. Together with nine adjoining lakes, there are over 50,000 acres of water to fish and explore!

With its sheer size, diverse structure and a heavy forage base, Wabigoon Lake not only produces a high population of game fish but also many trophy fish annually.

Ontario Whitetail Deer Hunting:

In 2003 the infamous Dryden Buck was shot illegally. This buck was later scored and unofficially ranked 192 7/8 typical white-tailed deer, setting a new Ontario record. While the story of this buck is very unfortunate, it does shine a light on the quality of white-tailed deer available in this area. With vast amounts of road accessible Crown Land, and exclusive high quality private agricultural land, we offer something for every trophy hunter, whether beginner or advanced. Private land hunts are limited to the first 12 hunters that book each season.

Ontario Black Bear Hunting:

Bonny Bay Camp is fortunate to have exclusive black bear outfitting access to over 130 square kilometers of highly productive land at the doorstep of the camp. Careful stewardship of this land over the past many years has resulted in maintaining a strong bear population that consistently provides world class black bear hunting opportunities.

We offer Fall bear hunting only. All baits are active weeks prior to the hunter's arrival. We will discuss in detail with each hunter the patterns and habits of each bait site. Ladder stands and/or platform stands will be at each site, but if you desire you may bring your own. Black Bears in the area are known to exceed 500 pounds and occasionally color variations such as cinnamon bears and chocolate bears are harvested. We only take a limited number of hunters so be sure to book early.

If you do not want fishing or hunting to be the focus of your vacation, we also have many family activities and local attractions that the whole family will enjoy.

Our fully equipped lakeside cabins are clean and comfortable. Our newly constructed beach is equipped with paddle boats, kayaks, a variety of floating toys and toys for playing in the sand. We also offer a playground away from the water and in view of the cabins.

Hiking, biking, golfing, and local shopping are also available only minutes from camp.

Our rates are in Canadian funds so our American guests receive significant savings with today's exchange rate.
